Fountains Abbey-Studdley Royal World Heritage
This very impressive Abbey has 800 years of history sits in 800 acres of some of Yorkshires finest and naturally beautiful countryside. It is Britains largest Abbey ruins and is the home to the spectacular Water Gardens. Fountains Abbey hosts many events throughout the year including wedding functions and business conferences.

Newby Hall and Gardens
Built by Christopher Wren in the 17th Century, Newby Hall is home to Mr and Mrs Richard Compton. Being steeped in history Newby Hall is a member of the Historic House association. With various attractions and its 25 acres of award winning gardens it is an interesting and great day out for all the family. Other attractions include the sculpture park and the Woodland and Discovery Walk. It also has a licensed garden restaurant and picnic area.
